MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that allows AI models to connect with external tools and services. Opera Neon is the first browser to support it natively.
This means that the MCP Connector lets external AI tools — like ChatGPT, Claude, or coding assistants — take control of your browser. Instead of copying and pasting between tools, your AI can read pages, click links, fill forms and act on the web directly, all from inside Opera Neon.
Once you have Opera Neon open, click the MCP Connector icon in the top right corner. Then click on the service you want to connect and follow the instructions. This article explains how to do it if you need more information.
MCP Connector is included in the Opera Neon subscription ($19.90/month). No extra setup or cost.
Currently, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Lovable and n8n are supported natively. You can also build custom connections.
